Muscat Visa Information
Muscat is the capital and largest city in the Sultanate of Oman. Since Oman's 'Renaissance' of modernization began in 1970, Muscat has seen an flare-up of infrastructure development and urbanization, and, as has been the case in so many other cities worldwide, towns which were once distinct have been subsumed within the sprawling growth of the city's expanding metropolitan area. But before visiting Muscat the travelers should go through Muscat Tourist Information and also the Muscat Visa Information section of the site AsiaRooms.com.

In order to encourage tourism, Oman government has relaxed its visa regulations in late
2001. Visas are still required except for citizens of other Gulf countries, but it is now possible for many foreign nationals including those from the EU, America, Australia and New Zealand to obtain a visa at Muscat's Seeb airport, or at border crossings.
